Where is last week’s article? It never happened. I didn’t write one. Burning Man consumed my every moment.  A hiatus was a must to ensure that this year’s burn was epic…and it certainly was. We danced, we cried, we ran, we tripped (vicariously through a volunteer position with the Zendo).

Then, we came back home and got back in the kitchen. I figured it was time for a freestyle video. Totally unfiltered. This is how we walk, talk, move and groove in the kitchen, and we even had the boy come in (watch to find out who he is). There so much work to be done before, after and during Burning Man, so we were into a quick-yet super nourishing dinner. Joe, my husband, got in the kitchen and whipped up a unique protein packed salad that we’re totally digging right now.

We’re just as ridiculous in the kitchen as we are at any other given moment, so I figured I’d just let the truth be what it is. Here’s a typical scene in our barbie kitchen (aka insanely tiny) as I like to call it.

This is a small glimpse of how teamwork, and communication are utilized and built. Also, couples who try new things together on a regular basis, have higher-quality relationships, according to research published in the Journal of Personality and Social PsychologyA new meal should certainly do the trick!

We like to keep it light a silly in the kitchen, as you may have noticed?
