This is a special, holiday inspired recipe that I had to share, just in time for Easter.  If you’re making a meal, this is the Easter dessert that will be the perfect addition to a healthy cuisine!

Last week, Joe and I went to Gracias Madre (a Vegan Mexican Restaurant) in San Francisco, and something very rare happened.

I used to be a huge fan of dessert after dinner.  Since I’ve decided to quit sugar, the desire to even view the dessert menu has completely disappeared.  I feel so much more clear, and energetic now that I’ve ditched the sugar.  There are so many very apparent benefits, that I’ll be revealing all in a later article.  Even though I wasn’t keen on ordering dessert, I was sent a message from the dessert Gods that I should inquire about the selection at Gracias Madre.  …

These are 10 superfoods that I like to keep stocked in my kitchen, as they are proven to ignite the senses, summon sensuality and provide the body with optimal nourishment.

Somehow, in this adventurous life I lead, I board a flight at least once a month.  Fortunately, I love traveling. I love the energy and the many unique people I encounter. “Sex and Poop”: a Valentine’s libido class

FREAKING elated.  Yup. That’s what I was during a class I attended at Rainbow Grocery Cooperative in San Francisco.  This class drew me in with the saucy subject; Libido and Sexual Health.  “Poop,” as you may have noticed in the title of this post, is a bold way of referring to digestion.  I will expound more on this topic in following posts!  The main topics of the class were as follows:

Sensual Recipe for enjoying every bite of your mushroom soup!

Spoon to lips.  Incoming!  Textures and flavors ignite the senses.  Deep, slow inhale with closed eyes and we’re in orgasmic food bliss.

I love this concept of “orgasmic food!” It really caught my attention when my friend, the beautiful Miss Jaiya-an internationally recognized sexologist-used these words to describe the way we eat.

Yesterday, my husband and I had dinner at this adorable quaint little place near our home; that prides themselves on using organic, local, sustainable fare (orgasmic food).  The food is delicious and the quality is unmistakable.  It was so incredibly tasty that after I took a moment in gratitude, and blessed my meal-as I do each time-we literally dove in.  It only took a few bites for me to realize I wasn’t really enjoying the food. …

After an unsuspectingly profound FLASH MOB meditation this morning, I went to a restaurant in downtown Palo Alto with a few of the meditators (the organizers appropriately switched the word “mob” for satsang: “flash satsang meditation”).   As we sat down, and food arrived, my friend asked if I’d like to share as her plate had arrived too full for her appetite.  I politely declined as she extended the offer to the rest of the table.  It was clear that I’d passed on the food, and my friend went on to share, “She’s so healthy! She had broccoli for breakfast!”  In fact, I did have broccoli with hemp oil drizzled on top with a few pumpkin seeds-for some fun crunch 🙂 for breakfast.…

Let me first thank you for reading. I’m twenty-seven years old and I am so excited to share what I’ve devoted nearly half of my life to…food! Yes! I know that you’ve spent countless wonderful years with food too 🙂 We all eat. Most of us eat 3-5 times a day! We’re all experts on eating, right? It’s true.
